Spike Cuff

An early 20th century rare antique silver Gokhru spuike cuff bracelet, also known as a defense bracelet, that originates from ancient tribal Swat Kohistanies of Northern Pakistan.

This heavy cuff, weighing in at almost 200grams has wonderful engravings and is made of high grade silver as it polishes up beautifully.

I came to own this collectors piece and other Afghani bracelets through the passing of a dear friend who was an intrepid traveller and carpet collector in the 1960's and he purchased this whilst travelling in the region.

Diameter of 62mm. This is to fit a small to medium sized wrist.
